This ring is carefully wire-wrapped with durable aluminum wire and has 13 garnet beads woven into the centerpiece of the ring. Measured to be a size five, this ring fits comfortably on size five fingers and shouldn't fall off or cause discomfort.

I loved making this piece. I wear my great-grandmother's ring nearly constantly which is a garnet ring, and so whenever I work with or see garnet, I think of that ring. The technique I used in this was wire-wrapping and it took around...oh, three hours or so with mild distractions and interruptions.

Just a quick question, is the woven wire part made from one continuous length of wire?

Which gauge wire might you be referring to? The 24...er, it might be 26 gauge...gauge wire is a continuous length, but the 20 gauge is two separate pieces conjoined by the higher gauge wire. I hope that answered your question, heh.
